About the position
Junior Technician
TechAccess is seeking a Junior Technician to join our growing installation team, delivering high-quality data centre infrastructure projects across South Africa.This hands-on role involves assisting with the installation of air-handling units (AHUs), aisle containment, and security caging solutions, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to TechAccess’s high standards.In line with our Employment Equity objectives, this position is open to Black female candidates (African, Coloured, and Indian, as defined by South African legislation). Key Responsibilities
Junior Technician
Assist in the installation of air handling units, including mounting, alignment, ducting support, and mechanical assembly.
Support the build and installation of Hot/Cold Aisle Containment systems (panels, doors, roof sections, cable baskets, and fibre runners).
Help install security caging systems, including steel frames, punched hole panels, fixings, and cage doors.
Carry tools, materials, aluminium extrusions, and assist with on-site fabrication as needed.
